Embed the YouTube Video with the iframe

If you want more control over the video. You can embed it using the iframe link. When you click on the share link, you see two options.

One is to copy that link and another one is to show the embed code. Click on that and you see the iframe code. Let me tell you the steps.

Step 1:- Copy this link.

Step 2:- Go to Appearance>>Widgets and add a text box to the sidebar.

Step 3:- There is only one difference, Instead of the visual editor, you have to switch to the “text” editor an then paste the code.

It’s because you’re pasting the HTML code which can’t be run when you use the visual editor. Save it and you’re done. You can also take control of the video controls while generating the code from YouTube.

Use a Plugin to add YouTube Videos to WordPress Sidebar

Many people may still be wondering as if how can they accomplish this if they want to add multiple videos.

Well, you can use any of the above-shown methods. But if you want to add use any plugin then you can. Just install and activate Video Sidebar Widgets.

It works just like any other simple WordPress widget. When you go to Appearance>>Widgets, you can see tits widget where you can add multiple videos.

It may confuse you at first. So it’s always good to use a text widget for each video. It depends on your choice.

This is a good strategy since most of the readers like visually stimulating posts and pictures and images usually capture viewer attention. It also allows for easy sharing of of videos and posts.
